Full of anticipation, and half expecting a laugh. I set out to capture the motion of the receding water. After many attempts I finally had it: my last frame of the day, and exactly the shot I wanted. In that instant I felt I had achieved so much, without quite registering how close I was crouched down until the surge hit the foreground stone and threw spray over my camera and me. It brought me straight back down to earth, humbled again.
